Welcome to Counsellors.co.nz, a platform connecting clients in need of counselling with qualified counsellors who provide sessions via Zoom or in-person at their office. Before using our platform as a counsellor, please read and understand the following terms of use:

Eligibility: To use our platform as a counsellor, you must be a qualified counsellor in New Zealand with appropriate training, certifications, and professional experience.

Account creation: You can create a counsellor account on Counsellors.co.nz by completing the registration process, providing your contact information, and submitting your certification documents for verification. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account details confidential.

Sessions and fees: As a counsellor on Counsellors.co.nz, you can offer counselling sessions to clients through the platform using Zoom or in person at your office. If you choose to offer face-to-face appointments, you are responsible for ensuring that your office meets all applicable health and safety regulations and that you have appropriate insurance coverage. You are also responsible for setting your own fees for your services, which will be displayed on your profile page. Counsellors.co.nz will deduct a commission fee for each session you provide, which will be agreed upon prior to registration.

Conduct and ethics: As a counsellor on Counsellors.co.nz, you must conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times. You must comply with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of your professional association, as well as any applicable laws and regulations. You must maintain the confidentiality and privacy of your clients, and not disclose any information about them to third parties.

Reviews and ratings: Clients who receive counselling services from you on Counsellors.co.nz may leave reviews and ratings on your profile page. You acknowledge that such reviews and ratings may be used to promote your services and improve the platform. You agree to receive constructive feedback and use it to improve your services.
